Micro-Cap is the best freeware tool for simulating thermal and electric properties of thermal infrared detectors, particularly, pyroelectric detectors. You may download any available version of Micro-Cap from the WebArchive, or you may download the last version of Micro-Cap from the author's Google Drive space.

SOFTWARE. SIMULATOR OF A PYROELECTRIC DETECTOR VERSION 1.11.
The software is completely based on the book "Mathematical modeling of a pyroelectric detector" (2018) by this author. It is best suitable for the lab sessions at the universities. This simulator is not designed for industrial applications, mainly due to its linear, small-signal mode algorithm.

This software is verified with virustotal.com. As it can be seen, the software is found to be absolutely clean.
Once run, the software begins to write down the calculated values in a .txt file. By this reason, it requires the administrator privileges to be permitted. Otherwise, the software may become irresponsible. Thus, before the first run, please, be kind to read this short, half-paged manual.
